The Bears Ears Education Center teaches visitors from near and far the specifics of how to respectfully visit the cultural and natural spaces of Bears Ears National Monument. This community-powered space aims to equip hikers, backpackers, paddlers, climbers and other recreational users with tips on how to visit the public lands of San Juan County with respect. The Center features numerous educational exhibits, navigational maps and retail store where visitors can purchase memorabilia, books and basic equipment for visiting the area respectfully.
